Standard passive equipment includes an Advanced Compatibility Engineering Body Structure, front, side and side curtain airbags, and three-point seat belts in all seating positions. Families can also take advantage of the Lower Anchors and Teachers for Children (LATCH) in the back seat, which make securing a car seat much easier. Child-proof door locks and a front seat-belt reminder also help passengers stay where they will be safe.

Stability assistance, anti-lock brakes, brake assist, and a multi-angle rearview camera are also standard.

Available 2017 Accord Safety Features

In addition to these standard safety features, the 2017 Honda Accord sedan is also available with a variety of additional features (many bundled in the Honda Sensing suite). Forward collision warnings, lane departure warnings, collision mitigation braking, lane keeping assistance, adaptive cruise control and road departure mitigation are available on all trim levels and standard on the elite Touring trim. The Honda LaneWatch blind spot warning system is standard on EX, EX-L, EX-L V6 and Touring models (and not available on LX, Sport, or Sport SE models), while auto high-beam headlights are standard only on the Touring model.
