We’ve been waiting for the new Honda Odyssey for what seems like forever, and now it has finally arrived! At the North American International Auto Show, that is. We have been able to get our first look at this refined minivan, and a taste of the great new features that will be available to help families connect and have fun on every journey. But all this leaves the pressing question of when can you get a 2018 Odyssey? Keep reading for an estimated 2018 Honda Odyssey release date and some other vital stats on this great new model.
2018 Honda Odyssey Release Date
We anticipate that the 2018 Honda Odyssey will be available in new Honda Odyssey inventory at dealerships across the nation within the next few months. The official release date timeline is spring of 2017. Contact a member of our Battison Honda team to get updates when this minivan arrives on our lot here in Oklahoma City, OK.
2018 Honda Odyssey Powertrain
We don’t have estimates on mileage yet, but the powertrain of the 2018 Honda Odyssey will feature a 3.5-liter V6 engine equipped with fuel-efficiency features like direct injection and Variable Cylinder Management. It will be able to crank out 280 horsepower and will come mated to a choice of two automatic transmission options. A nine-speed automatic transmission will be standard, with a ten-speed automatic transmission available in some trim levels.
How Many People Can Fit in a 2018 Honda Odyssey?
Passenger space in the 2018 Honda Odyssey will remain the same as in the previous model, meaning that it will seat seven or eight. While capacity might not be changing, we know that many new seating features are on the horizon. Not only will the 2018 Odyssey be available with heated and ventilated front seats, but the Odyssey will be available with Magic Slide™ seats. These seats will be especially easy to adjust, and will offer multiple configurations to deliver easy access for parents and children.
