How Can I Use My Honda HR-V Second-Row Magic Seat®?
The 2021 Honda HR-V offers a surprising amount of space in the trunk and back seat. The Second-Row Magic Seat® can be configured into a variety of cargo modes, offering incredible versatility and everyday convenience. With the rear seat in place the Honda HR-V makes room for up to five passengers while still leaving plenty of room for cargo in the back. The 60/40 rear seatback allows driver to fold down one side or both to make room for long or bulky cargo. The rear seats can also be folded up to offer space for taller items, like bikes, lamps, or houseplants. When you need space for extra-long cargo, the front passenger seat can fold down to fit items up to eight feet long.
Honda HR-V Cargo Space
With the rear seatback in the upright position the HR-V can offer 24.3 cubic feet of cargo space in 2WD models or 23.3 cubic feet of space in AWD models. Drivers can put the vehicle in “utility mode” by folding down both sides of the rear seatback, opening the cargo space up to 58.8 cubic feet of space in 2WD models or 57.6 cubic feet of space in AWD models.
