The 2017 Honda Civic Type R is powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine with direct injection that delivers 306 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque. This is the most powerful automobile production engine made by Honda in America, and it will now be available as a crate engine that may offer an attractive powertrain option for racers building their own vehicles. This engine will be available from the Honda Racing Line program.
