It helps coordinate driver needs and electric grid demand to charge the Honda Fit EV during times when electricity has a lower demand (and is therefore less expensive) instead of immediately when the vehicle is plugged in after a person gets home from work.\u00a0 The app works by communicating with both the vehicle telematics system and the electric grid and finding the best time to charge.<\/p>\n Using this app can help drivers save money on electricity, but it can also make electric transportation more sustainable by using electricity during low demand times. Participating Fit EV owners can also earn rewards for using the app correctly.
