What Oklahoma Businesses are Open? <\/h3>\n\n\n\n
While May 6 marked the end of the safer-at-home orders, the state is well on its way in the first phase of reopening. On April 24 the first phase of Oklahoma\u2019s reopening began, and this allowed for personal care businesses, like barbershops and hair salons, to reopen for appointments in communities that did not have additional restrictions in place. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
At the start of May restaurants, movie theaters, sporting venues, and gyms reopened their doors to the public, with set social distancing guidelines still in place. Oklahoma is still in phase one of its reopening which means that local Oklahoma bars must continue to stay closed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
What Happens in Oklahoma\u2019s Phase 2? <\/h3>\n\n\n\n
During the second phase of Oklahoma\u2019s reopening, the day-to-day lives of residents will start to look a little more normal. Residents can begin nonessential travel again and sports activities are allowed to resume with social distancing and sanitation protocols in place. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\nOnce Oklahoma has entered its second phase of reopening local bars will be able to reopen their doors with restricted occupancy and social distancing and sanitation protocols in place. Weddings and funerals will be able to resume, and more than 10 people will be allowed to be in attendance. Places of worship, children\u2019s nurseries, and children’s care facilities can also reopen during phase 2. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
There will still be restrictions in place during phase 2 of Oklahoma\u2019s reopening for select communities. Below are some of the guidelines that will be in place during the state\u2019s second phase of reopening. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
- Individuals who are over 65 or are part of a vulnerable population are to continue following safer-at-home guidelines <\/li>
- Employers must keep common areas closed or enforce sanitation protocols and proper social distancing <\/li>
- Employers must allow for special accommodations for employees who are members of vulnerable populations <\/li>
- Visitors are prohibited from entering hospitals and senior care facilities <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n
