The 2017 St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Oklahoma City OK will be held on March 18, 2017, the Saturday after the holiday (which is on a Friday this year). It will kick-off at 11 a.m. and should travel through downtown from Reno and Hudson to the Bricktown Ballpark. With thousands of attendees and dozens of floats, this can be a great time for everyone. 28th Annual Bricktown St. Patrick’s Day Block Party<\/h3>\n

\"groupIf you want to celebrate (adult-style) on St. Patrick’s Day, the\u00a0 Bricktown St. Patrick’s Day Block Party is one of the best spots. Historically, this\u00a0free event\u00a0has offered\u00a0live music from 3 p.m. until late in the evening. We assume it will be on Friday, March 17, though official information is not yet available. Held on Oklahoma Avenue at the Bricktown Canal, this Block Party will feature food from several\u00a0top quality food trucks. Last year there were\u00a0also free beer samples from 3 to 5 p.m.<\/p>\n

O’Connell’s Irish Pub and Grille<\/h3>\n

Of course if you want to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day at a good old fashioned pub, maybe a visit to O’Connell’s in Norman OK is the way to go. They will be offering a variety of St. Patrick’s Day programming, including a the Annual St. Pat’s 8k Run on Saturday, March 11 (to benefit the Special Olympics of Oklahoma) and their 49th Annual St. Pat’s Party, which will start at 7 a.m. on Friday, March 17 and presumably just keep going!
