Key Differences – 2021 Honda Odyssey vs 2021 Chrysler Pacifica

For the 2021 model year, the Honda Odyssey is breaking barriers and expectations. The 2021 Odyssey Touring and Elite are coming to the market with an industry-first Rear Seat Reminder with Camera System. The Rear Seat Reminder comes standard across the Odyssey lineup and the available CabinWatch® system adds even more convenience to parents while behind the wheel. Honda Sensing® has also added Low-Speed Follow, Pedestrian Emergency Braking, and Traffic Sign Recognition to its standard safety features suite. The 2021 Chrysler Pacifica offers shoppers an array of safety systems, however, it does not equip every model with a uniform suite of safety equipment.

The 2021 Odyssey is fitted with a 3.5-liter i-VTEC™ V6 engine mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission to generate 280 horsepower on the road. The push-button start system allows parents to get behind the wheel and on the road with ease. The competing 2021 Pacifica manufactures a similar amount of horsepower with its standard 3.6-liter V6 engine.

Honda Odyssey models can be fitted with seating for seven or eight passengers depending on the vehicle's trim level. The Odyssey LX features two second-row Captain’s Chairs and can seat a total of seven passengers. The rest of the Odyssey lineup offers standard seating for eight passengers, with a three-seat bench in the second and third rows.
