Honda Sensing® is a safety technology in the Honda Pilot that lets drivers know if they are about to hit something. It uses four radar sensors, a forward-facing camera, and six laser sensors to detect objects in front of the car and around it. With this technology, the car can automatically slow down to avoid collisions and help keep passengers safe. The system includes Lane Keeping Assist, Collision Mitigation Braking System™ (CMBS™)***, Road Departure Mitigation (RDM®)****, Adaptive Cruise Control***** with Low-Speed Follow, and Forward Collision Warning with Autonomous Emergency Braking. The Lane Keep Assist can detect the lane markings and automatically stay in your lane. The adaptive cruise control can maintain a safe distance from the car ahead while maintaining a set speed. The automatic high beams are also great because they can spot an object up to 1/2 mile away.
