Currently, the state of Oklahoma does not have any requirements surrounding vehicle emissions testing. This means that you do not need to get an emissions test done to renew your registration, get vehicle insurance, or for any other reason.

Often, states with vehicle emissions requirements will mandate that a test be performed in order to bring a vehicle into the state and register it. Urban areas most often require emissions testing due to the high population.
