How Often Does a Cabin Air Filter Need to Be Changed?

The cabin air filter is the filter that cleans incoming air through the vehicle’s air conditioning, heating, and ventilation system. With the cabin air filter in place, your vehicle’s air is kept free of debris, dust, and pollen.

The cabin air filter inside of your vehicle should be changed roughly every 30,000 miles depending on your driving style. If you live in a more polluted area, such as a city, you may want to replace the cabin air filter more frequently.
