How Much Can You Fit in the 2019 Honda Insight?

However, in this blog we are going to look at the very practical question of how much 2019 Honda Insight passenger and cargo space drivers can expect. Does this model offer practical dimensions as well as top features and efficiency? We think that it hits all the right notes.
2019 Honda Insight Passenger and Cargo Space
All models of the 2019 Honda Insight seat five passengers and offer 42.3 inches of leg room in the front and 37.4 inches of leg room in the rear. LX and EX trim levels have 97.6 cubic feet of passenger space in the cabin, while the top Touring trim has 94.7 cubic feet of passenger space.
How much luggage can fit in the Insight?
The elite 2019 Honda Insight Touring trim offers slightly less trunk space (14.7 cubic feet) thanks to other attractive features taking up space in the vehicle. However, that is less than half a cubic foot of a reduction when compared to the LX and EX trim. Those models offer 15.1 cubic feet of cargo space in the trunk. Whether drivers choose the LX, EX, or Touring model they can enjoy competitive cargo dimensions for a compact sedan. With around 15 cubic feet of space, you should be able to comfortably fit around six carry-on sized bags, or two to three full-size suitcases, depending on their shape.
Even more space is available by folding down the rear 60/40 split seats.
