Are you looking for a special event for the special Mom in your life? Brunch and flowers are time-honored choices for Mother’s Day, but this year why not give Mom the gift of your time with one of these Mother’s Day 2018 festivals and events around Oklahoma City OK. We wanted to include the coolest, all-day activities, so some of these are farther away from us here in OKC, but all of them are worth the time.

Oklahoma Renaissance Festival – Muskogee OK
This excellent renaissance event will run every Saturday and Sunday in May (and a few in April and June, too!) from 10:30 a.m. until 6 p.m. Cost is $14.95 per adult for advanced tickets and $16.95 at the gate. Students, children, and seniors may be able to get discounts. There are also special meals and shows that are extra, but might be fun for you and Mom.
Rooster Days Festival – Broken Arrow OK
Running May 10-13, Rooster Days will feature a parade, carnival food, live entertainment, a market, carnival rides, and a wine garden. Admission is free to the fair grounds, and a one-day ride pass is $30. This festival will be open starting at 10 a.m. on weekends and closes at 11 p.m. Saturday and 6 p.m. on Mother’s Day.

Arts for All Festival – Lawton OK
This festival is open Friday evening, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday. (May 11-13). It is free to walk around the festival and look at the gorgeous art and enjoy live entertainment. A wine garden, concessions, and activities will be available to purchase.
Italian Festival – McAlester OK
Want to celebrate Italian heritage? The McAlester Italian Festival will be open Saturday May 12 (9 a.m to dark) and Sunday, May 13 (10 a.m. to 4 p.m.). Attendees will be able to enjoy great Italian food and festivities, including live entertainment, a carnival, and wine tasting. Admission is free.
